在10月18-20日泰国曼谷召开的第13届亚太通信会议 (APCC2007: 2007 IEEE Asia-Pacific Conference on Communications)上，我校电子系“董竞博、陈庆、牛志升”合作的论文“Random Graph Theory based Connectivity Analysis in Wireless Sensor Networks with Rayleigh Fading Channels”被授予了大会最佳论文(APCC2007 Best Paper Award)。此次大会共收到241篇论文投稿，最后只评出3篇大会最佳论文。该奖项由IEEE Communication Society Asia Pacific Board,日本Institute of Electronics, Information, and Communication Engineers (IEICE), 和韩国Korea Institute of Communication Systems (KICS)联合赞助。
