Title: Recent Research Activities at UCLA WiNG

Abstract:

In this talk, we will describe the research efforts on wireless networking and mobile systems at UCLA WiNG group. We will discuss our perspectives on wireless Internet research, and the projects we have been working. We also shared lessons we learned through these projects.

Short bio:

Songwu Lu is currently an associate professor of computer science at UCLA. His research interests include wireless networking, sensor networks, network security and mobile systems. He has served on the conference program and organizing committees for many conferences, including ACM MOBICOM, ACM MOBIHOC, ACM MOBISYS, IEEE INFOCOM, etc.

More recently, he was a program co-chair of ACM MOBICOM 2005. He is also on the editorial board of ACM wireless networks and IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing.
